About

The story told through engineering: what I've worked on, what I've come to believe about building interfaces, and what I'm learning now.

A downloadable PDF isn't up yet — everything below is current.

Who I am

Frontend engineer who cares about design

Frontend Engineer with 3+ years building products, not just interfaces — scalable web and desktop applications that are clear, usable, and production-ready.

I work across the boundary of design and development - building reusable component systems, improving UI consistency, and translating design into real products.

Currently taking on freelance and contract work — design systems, frontend architecture, full product builds — alongside select full-time opportunities.

Principles

What I've come to believe

Systems over screens

A well-placed design token or shared component prevents more inconsistency than any amount of one-off polish after the fact.

Accessibility is part of "done"

Not a pass at the end — layout, spacing and interaction get built against WCAG standards from the start, the same way responsiveness does.

Extend without asking

A system a team can pick up and extend on their own is worth more than a flourish that only makes sense because I built it.

Open for new work

Currently taking on freelance and contract work — design systems, frontend architecture, full product builds — alongside select full-time opportunities. Outside client work, that mostly means building this site — the same systems thinking, applied to something that's just mine.
