Hi, I'm Akshay.
I design and engineer modern digital products.

I care about design systems, frontend architecture, accessibility, motion, and AI-powered developer experiences.

Design philosophy

How I think about building

Good interfaces are mostly restraint — the same token used everywhere instead of five approximations of it, the same interaction pattern instead of a clever new one per screen. I'd rather ship a system that a team can extend without asking me than a flourish that only works because I built it.

From the lab

Motion

Scroll-scrubbed motion study

A small set of scroll-driven transforms — pinned sections, scrubbed timelines — built to test where scroll-linked motion helps versus where it just adds noise.

Accessibility

Reduced-motion audit tool

A small in-browser tool that walks a page's animated elements and flags which ones don't respect prefers-reduced-motion.

Three.js

Three.js particle field

A GPU-instanced particle field reacting to pointer position, as a first real Three.js/React Three Fiber build.
